Brief: Blesma were exploring new ways of recruiting donors and were keen to explore social video in order to increase awareness and create a new donor journey.
Concept: War lasts for a limited time, but its impact can last forever. Transmission's creative team wanted to demonstrate that the charity Blesma was here to support limbless veterans and ensure they were not forgotten. In this concept, Transmission bring this thought alive with the addition of library footage at the start showing war and its devastating impact. This highly attention grabbing intro will explained how a short term war can leave lasting consequences.
Result: With a limited budget of just £1,600 the social video was created and a massive 276,337 viewed the video including 68,753 organic reaches. Pledges were made both through the SMS text and online.
Brief: Audible wanted to increase the amount of downloads of their digital audio books, and it was Transmission's job to convey how these audio books could be enjoyed in scenarios where a traditional paperback book could not.
Concept: Transmission's creative team devised a series of humourous ads which focused on people struggling to read a standard book while carrying out other activities e.g. exercising, commuting etc. Then the team positioned digital audio books as the simple solution.
Result: The campaign led to an increase not only in downloads, but also awareness - leading to business growth and greater market share.
Brief: Transmission was asked to create a TVC that appealed to mums who were responsible for booking package holidays for the family. Instead of going from site to site, they could compare everything in one place by visiting icelolly.com
Concept: Transmission's production team produced an ad that was deliberately tongue-in-cheek and featured a woman on holiday by the pool checking out different men in their trunks – in other words comparing their ‘packages’. To heighten the tone, the classic song ‘Sexy Thing’ by Hot Chocolate was licensed, and Joanna Page was cast as the voice.
Result: In the first hour after airing, the site received more traffic than it usually received in an entire week.
Brief: As Britain’s leading pawnbroker, Cash Converters wanted to create a TV campaign to promote its wide variety of additional services to C2DE’s.
Concept: Transmission produced a suite of eight commercials to promote the company’s various services in a fun and engaging way, whilst also cementing its position in the marketplace.
Result: In the 2 years that it was on air, the campaign was a huge success, dramatically increasing Cash Converters’ dominance in the marketplace and boosting sales, with the franchise growing to over 250 stores across Great Britain.
