The Gold File

The Gold File is exclusively managed by Alchemy. The file consists of 38 million records and 24 million households. The Gold file is based predominantly on factual transactional data collected in conjunction from 83 syndicate members and contains consumer postal, email and telephone data. We believe that transactional data is a far more powerful predictor of people’s attitudes and behaviours and should out perform the traditional incentives surveys which have traditionally dominated the list market.

We have chosen members from a wide variety of industry sectors and a broad group of demographics to ensure that companies looking to use our data have as much choice as possible. In addition to the syndicate members data The Gold File has been overlaid with Share Holders, Directors @ Home and Credit History data. To find out more about each of these data sets click on the diagram below.

All of the data that goes into the Gold File is held on a single platform enabling you to overlay any of the selections available from each of the database contributors. In total the Gold File consists of 300+ selections which have been collected from the syndicate members adding their data to the pool. It has been our intention to provide a product that is large enough to cater for the mass mailers, however has enough selections available to ensure even the niche marketers can benefit from the file.
